Saturday, January 20 was a daytime race at Los Angeles County Raceway. Temperatures were in the 50s and it was windy. We shared the track with the Road Kings/Early Riders and Pontiac Drag Days car clubs, and some test and tuners. With no major incidents, we finished by 2pm.

Gary Brown, founder of the WCCC, returned for time trials with his 402 powered C5, but chose to race another day due to the dusty track conditions.

Congratulations to first round winners Henry Mynatt and Gary Combs.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Vicki Lane, and condolences to Maria Navarro on the loss of her friend.
